Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament
On Saturday, 5/19/07, ASQ Section 1109 hosted its annual Scholarship Golf Tournament to raise funds for student scholarships. There were 68 golfers - almost double previous years' participation. The help of numerous section members, friends, and family throughout the day made it a great success!

Meeting with NC A&T Student Section & Scholarship Competition
On Tuesday, 2/20/07, ASQ Section 1109 conducted a Scholarship Competition at its joint meeting with the Student Section at NC A&T. The meeting was well attended by regular section members, student members, and other members of the university community. Several students signed up as new ASQ members during the evening. The competition featured posters & presentations by undergraduate and graduate students, with over $1000 awarded.
