DuWayne Carlson Educational Scholarship

Section 1109 is delighted to offer the DuWayne Carlson Educational Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 to the deserving child of an active section member.

Eligibility:
To be eligible, a candidate must be a college-bound high school senior, or a full time college student. The student must be maintaining a 3.0 or higher grade point average (4.0 scale or equivalent). Additionally, parent / guardian member must have attended at least 3 section meetings from September through March of the current ASQ section-year in which the application is submitted.   Attendance credit can also be earned by completing Board approved activity(s).

Timeline:
The application deadline is March 31, 2012.
