Workshop: Measurement Error Assessment & Process Capability  

Measurement Error Assessment & Process Capability (MEAPC) - This is a practical discussion on how to measure and quantify measurement error for both variables and attributes. The relationship between number of operators, parts, and trials as they apply to the level of confidence for a variables study will be explored. Methods for determining the efficiency of visual inspection will be presented. Process capability will discussed in terms of Generation I vs II and the concepts of “Short” vs “Long” term. Process capability for attribute data and the level of confidence will be developed.
