What is a Credit Union?

A credit union is a financial institution that is not-for-profit that is owned and operated by its members. A credit union functions with the mission to benefit all who belong to the credit union with the philosophy of “people helping people”.

Truliant Federal Credit Union is headquartered in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and has the mission to enhance the quality of it members’ financial lives and become their preferred financial institution.

In this ever changing U.S. economy where every penny counts people are moving towards federal credit unions as their primary financial institutions. Credit Unions have the same offering as banks although instead of sharing the profits with share holder’s credit unions disperse their profits to their member-owners.
